Eli and David Ian Lee just finished a 1000+ mile road trip and lived to podcast about it! On episode 129, the two friends talk theatre, New York, the midwest, parenting, and how they each went slowly insane on the road trip. Then, in the second half of the episode, Eli interviews David's 7-year-old son Beckett. They talk about movies, creativity, being funny, and first grade.

Ep. 128 - Michael Grubb

Eli is starting a masters program in Student Affairs. But before he does that, he wanted to interview a professional in the field! Michael Grubb has (sorta) been friends with Eli for years and he opens up his office to talk student affairs, higher ed, social media, depression, counseling, the performing arts, and how he went from being a middle school music teacher to an academic advisor in the Kelley School of Business! Plus, Eli shares with Michael some of his thoughts and fears about his upcoming grad school experience.

Ep. 127 - Adam Henze

Eli and Adam Henze first met at a poetry slam four years ago. This interview is their second meeting. On episode 127 of APAF, the poet/teacher/PhD student sits down with Eli in an empty college classroom to talk about current issues in higher education, the difficulty in defining slam poetry, working with teen writers, graduate school, and the port-a-potties at the Indy 500.
