Ep. 109 - Hananiah Wiggins

Hananiah Wiggins' cat hates him. On Episode 109 of APAF, the educator/actor talks to Eli about his mutual hatred of said cat, getting lost, teaching, driving in Chicago, his variety of acting roles in college (including the role that Denzel Washington recently played in the film FENCES), and that time he won Eli in a date auction. Plus, Eli puts out a call to action.

Ep. 108 - Sarah Bowden

She's laid spike tape for Elaine Stritch. She's made copies for Lin-Manuel Miranda. She got an acting degree without realizing it. Sarah Bowden has done just about everything in theatre, and it has all helped her become the playwright and teacher she is today. OH YEAH, and she's also hard of hearing, just like Eli! Listen to episode 108 of APAF and hear Sarah and Eli nerd out over theatre, superheroes, hearing aids, disability, and puns! Plus, Eli plugs last week's Valentine's Day Special!

Eli is clueless about dating, romance, and love. So he's decided to make a Valentine's Day Special and enlist NINE fascinating people to help him figure it all out. A single straight woman who is taking a break from serial online dating; a man in a serious relationship, who's realizing that his art is changing because he's no longer the lonely poet that he used to be; two women who just set a date for their wedding, and who reveal to Eli that he unknowingly had a hand in their coming together; a trans man who has recently discovered that polyamory works well for him; a single friend who shares Eli's fascination with Sex and the City; a gay man who uses his dating horror stories to get to the larger questions of contemporary gay culture, crushes, and destiny; and a married couple who are eagerly and lovingly expecting their first child. The episode also features music by ten independent artists and bands! So celebrate all the weirdness that is Valentine's Day by listening to the All People Are Famous Valentine's Day Special!
